Skool4Kidz family came together to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday with pride, joy and a strong spirit of togetherness.
Across our centres, children explored Singapore’s heritage, culture and community through engaging activities, performances and hands-on experiences.
At Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Sembawang East Creek, our children connected with seniors through a meaningful intergenerational celebration. Our Kindergarten 2 children became young facilitators, guiding seniors through Tech Toy activities and learning the value of intergenerational connections.
Children from Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Sembawang Sunbreeze explored the question “What does Singapore mean to me?”. They turned their ideas into a collaborative art installation and a parade presentation.
Adding to the celebrations, children from Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Sengkang Anchorvale Crescent dressed up as familiar Singapore figures. Their costumes ranged from police officers to Singapore Airlines (SIA) cabin crew. The activity gave children a fun way to discover different roles in Singapore while developing creativity, confidence and teamwork.
Through SG61, our children learnt that Singapore’s story belongs to everyone. They discovered how kindness, collaboration and community spirit help build a stronger nation. Most importantly, they developed a deeper sense of belonging and pride in the place they call home.
As our little ones waved their handmade flags, their bright smiles reflected the hope and promise of Singapore’s future.
