This year's Skool4Kidz Coding Challenge was a truly special one – held in celebration of Singapore's 60th birthday! Our young coders put their creativity and teamwork to the test with the theme "GoGreen SG". They explored how technology can help care for the planet, just as Singapore has done over the past six decades.

Our little coders strike a pose as they were all smiles while working hard on their green missions!
Eco-Missions invited preschoolers to time travel and compare Singapore's past and present environment. They learned about earlier constraints, such as limited land for waste management and water catchment. Returning to today, the children investigated modern solutions. They explored how waste-to-energy plants handle rubbish and how the Four National Taps secure sustainable water. Children worked together, debugging and refining instructions, showing that even young learners can become problem-solvers for Singapore's green future.
The challenge was filled with energy, smiles and plenty of "aha!" moments as children worked together to debug, refine and succeed. In the end, teams were celebrated for their outstanding efforts.
We are proud to announce that teams from Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Tampines GreenLeaf (KB) and Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Tampines GreenRidges (RS) were awarded the title of Best Coding Star. The Best Teamwork awards went to the teams from Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Tampines GreenLeaf (KB) and Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Tampines GreenForest (RS).
Congratulations to all our eco-coders for coding with heart and imagination! This year's challenge strengthened problem-solving skills and inspired children to dream of a greener, smarter Singapore for the future.
