After two months of near isolation for Skool4Kidz children, the reopening of classes in staggered phases in early June 2020 was more like a class reunion of sorts. Almost all of our little ones voiced their excitement to see their friends again to learn and play together.
To celebrate the re-opening of school, the children each received a reusable mask as ‘Welcome Back’ gift from Skool4Kidz under the “Care-and-Share” Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative. All teachers and centre staff each received a mask as part of the same programme as we care for everyone’s wellbeing!
Children were asked to write the things they missed most during Circuit Breaker on pieces of shaped coloured paper which were hung like fruits on a ‘Wishing Tree’. Kudos to our teachers for the hard work and creativity put into creating the trees!
Our teachers used scrap materials, recyclables such as craft materials and cardboard were used to create the trees.
The trees represents school and the leaves represent the kids themselves, their dreams and aspirations. The kids complete the preschool.
Before the children returned to school, centre premises were thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Tables and chairs were rearranged to meet safe distancing guidelines. Learning was also conducted in smaller groups and outdoor activities were reduced to a minimum.
