Skool4Kidz remains committed to continuous learning with its annual Professional Development (PD) Days held in May and July 2025. Over 1,700 educators gathered to strengthen their professional skills and enhance classroom practices.
The sessions were held across two venues – YWCA Fort Canning and Singapore Shopping Centre – and drew 850 participants in May and 854 in July. Designed to cater to the diverse needs of early childhood educators, each edition featured six curated courses conducted in English and Chinese.
The PD Days provided a valuable platform for reflection, discussion and professional growth. Through practical strategies and peer learning, educators were equipped with tools to better support children’s development.
Educators teaching Nursery 2 to Kindergarten 2 explored topics such as “Purposeful Play to Purposeful Learning” and “Using Meaningful Assessments to Support Young Learners”. For Chinese-language teachers, sessions included “Using AI tools to Stimulate Children’s Interest in Learning Chinese” (利用AI工具激发幼儿华语学习的兴趣) and “Social Emotional Learning and Positive Behaviour Management” (社交情感学习与正向行为管理). They focused on creative language strategies and managing classroom behaviours positively.
Infant and Toddler educators attended courses on “Nurturing Connections: Responsive Caregiving for Infants and Toddlers” and “Talking Together: Strategies to Build Language Skills”. A new Chinese-language session introduced in July, “Move to Be Smart! – Boosting Infant Brain Development Through Physical Activities” (悦动越“聪明”!——通过体能活动促进婴幼儿脑神经发育), highlighted the role of physical activities in supporting brain development during the early years.
As part of its professional excellence framework, Skool4Kidz continues to invest in its people. Empowering educators to nurture young minds with confidence, compassion and purpose.
