All dressed in red polo shirts, some 320 teachers, principals and staff of Skool4Kidz converged at our Skool4Kidz Day for a fun day of learning, celebrations and fellowship.

The theme for the event, “A Celebration of Milestones”, helped set the tone for a vibrant programme of activities for our educators and teachers. It also aptly marked Skool4Kidz’ successes in operating our 13 childcare centres since inception to provide every child with a successful start in life through quality early care and education.

The Guest of Honour at the event was Ms Ng Mie Ling, Assistant CEO of the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).

Mr Seet Lee Kiang, our Director at Skool4Kidz, unveiled plans to add new childcare centres to our network by 2022, including the soon-to-be-opened mega childcare centre at Sengkang Riverside Park.

Importantly, our staff had the opportunity to learn about the latest Early Years learning developments around the world from Dr Jane Ching-Kwan, Skool4Kidz Founder & Director, who presented a keynote speech on “Early Childhood Curriculum: What Young Children Are Learning Around the World”.

New staff development initiatives and career pathways were also unveiled by Ms Stella Tan, Skool4Kidz’s Human Resource Manager, in line with the expansion of our preschool network in the years ahead.

All the participants had the opportunity to engage themselves and learn at seven curriculum-based stations on such subjects as Music & Movement, Tech Toys, Nature, Second language etc. Some of the activities were designed to reinforce Skool4Kidz’ emphasis in our Technology-aided curriculum.

The day’s programme culminated with an Awards Ceremony in recognition for the staff’s dedication, hard work and achievements, including Best Centre, Best Principal, Best English Teacher, Best Chinese Teacher, and even Best Chef. Eighteen staff who began with the first Skool4Kidz centre also received their three-year service award.

Our Campus @ Woodlands Ring received accolades for their SPARK achievement (with Commendation) reserved for the Top Childcare Centres across Singapore.
