The Skool4Kidz “cocoon” at our Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park has been “spun”!

Some of our children have started their childcare sessions in the comfort of our spanking new premises specially designed to nurture preschoolers for life-long learning and a better future.

With a built-up area of 3,900 square metres and 400 child and infant care places, this two-storey cocoon-like childcare centre, Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park, began operations on 5 February, 2018 with the first batch of happy children.

This campus, nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Sengkang Riverside Park, is designed and equipped to nurture our children’s creative mindset and savviness in technology in a safe and embracing nature environment.

It features an indoor garden atrium with skybridge, a butterfly lodge, an atelier loft with reading space, a unique dining space that will serve food from their own garden harvests and themed outdoor play corridors that wind like “little caterpillars” in various parts of the centre. The large Multi-Purpose Hall fronts abundant foliage from the surrounding public park for a wide range of interactive games and physical activities.

The community playground and garden are located next to the centre, with the latter planned in collaboration with the National Parks Board’s (NParks) for the Community in Bloom programme.

These support Skool4Kidz’ Integrated Thematic Curriculum based on the education philosophies of four top internationally-acclaimed early childhood scholars. Our curriculum provides a balanced approach to developing our children intellectually and emotionally. Additionally, our campus’ use of education technology within the physical theme of nature-in-a-park across our various learning areas enhances the development of our children’s technology savviness to help prepare them towards 21st century skills.

Skool4Kidz founder Dr Jane Ching-Kwan says the new centre in the park is uniquely designed to help our children grow into wholesome individuals who are physically healthy and strong, socially-emotionally confident, environmentally responsible, with a curious mind for learning and determination for success.
