In another Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort, Skool4Kidz has made a monetary donation to Singapore Children’s Society’s Pre-school Outreach Project and the funds will help in defraying costs incurred under this Project. Children’s Society works closely with the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) and reaches out to children aged between 3 and 6 who were not enrolled in any childcare centres or kindergarten. Caseworkers work closely with these families to support the placement of their children into pre-schools and in encouraging regular attendance.
The donated funds will be used to purchase materials for the children’s schooling needs as well as materials and transportation needs for the Pre-school Bridging Programme, of which its purpose is to provide a foundational academic kick-start for K2 children who had little or no pre-school experience but would be starting primary one the following year.
Skool4Kidz’ monetary contribution to Singapore Children’s Society is part of its CSR mission to give every child a chance to a successful early start in life, by sponsoring programmes for pre-school children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Skool4Kidz currently has another CSR programme that provides fully-subsidised English Speech and Drama enrichment lessons to K1 and K2 children from families-in-need, to help address their potential linguistic gaps.
Skool4Kidz will continue to partner the government and charitable organisations through its CSR efforts.
Skool4Kidz’ donation to Singapore Children’s Society’s Pre-school Outreach Project will benefit children aged between 3 and 6, who are currently not enrolled in any childcare centres or kindergartens.
