The Skool4Kidz Care Fund collaborated with Crestar Learning Centre (CLC) and the community in a meaningful inter-generational give-back outreach project named “Little Giving Artists’ and our preschoolers joined in!
Our Little Giving Artists pay forward through charity and creativity.
Artistic Preschoolers as Little Giving Artists.
As the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Skool4Kidz Preschool, Skool4Kidz Care Fund launched the outreach project to inculcate values of compassion and foster artistic creativity in our children. Guided by art specialist teachers from Crestar Learning Centre, Skool4Kidz Preschoolers became ‘Little Giving Artists’ hand-painting acrylic art pieces on canvas in the charity project. The art pieces were donated in a charity auction as a fund raising effort to benefit AWWA EIC (Early Intervention Centre). Notably, AWWA provide free developmental and therapy services for below-means preschoolers with developmental problems – from physical, intellectual and learning disabilities to autism spectrum disorders.

Sponsored by the Skool4Kidz Care Fund, the outreach project engages over 150 children from the Art Enrichment Programme across five Skool4Kidz Preschools. With facilitation by the specialist art teachers from CLC, the children were inspired to create acrylic paint art pieces, with the theme of ‘Technology and I’.
Online Art Gallery Showcase in aid of Charity.
The children’s artworks were showcased on Skool4Kidz website via an online art gallery for a charity auction. The parents and public responded by bidding for the art pieces. All the proceeds were donated to the AWWA to support children with moderate to severe disabilities in their learning journey.
The support from the children’s families encourage the little ones to pursue their creative endeavours. It also demonstrates their compassion towards the vulnerable community.

AWWA as Beneficiary
Each dollar raised from the sale of the art pieces were matched and even topped up by the Skool4Kidz Care Fund. A total of $25,050 was raised and we are thankful to the community for supporting this initiative wholeheartedly.
This donation to AWWA is part of Skool4Kidz’ continuing CSR efforts. Last year, it raised $30,375 to support the work of the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF). This provides children with cancer and their families the much needed financial support in their battle against the life-threatening illnesses.
