Selected from a shortlist of 350 projects from 41 countries, Skool4Kidz won in the Community Centres category. Shortlisted projects were judged against criteria including design vision, innovation and originality, capacity to stimulate, engage and delight occupants and visitors, accessibility and sustainability.

The International Architect Awards 2019 (Community Category) is one of Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park’s many architectural recognitions.

Partnering with NParks and ECDA, Skool4Kidz’s large childcare centre is designed to integrate seamlessly with the Sengkang Riverside Park.

Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park is the first and only project in Singapore that integrates an entire preschool facility in a public park. Designed as a learning cocoon by Freight Architects, and in collaboration NParks and Early Childhood Development Agency, the building is a seamless extension of the Sengkang Riverside Park.

The campus features a “living’’ roof and openings specially created to maximize natural daylight and cross ventilation. The mix of indoors and outdoors encourage a richer learning environment for our little pre-schoolers.
