Skool4Kidz – a leader in Coding for pre-schoolers locally – is delighted to partner the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), Info-comm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and KLC International Institute at the Early Childhood Conference 2018 to share the merits of imbuing coding to the young.

For the second year in a row, we are honoured to be the preschool partner for this annual event. Held at the Suntec City Convention Centre on 5 and 6 October 2018, preschool educators from all of Singapore had the opportunity to learn from our Curriculum Founder Dr Jane Ching-Kwan, who shared the Coding methodologies for the children at Skool4kidz.

Dr Jane shares about the importance of technology at the ECDA Conference 2018.

Dr Jane emphasised the need for children to get in touch with technology learning through unplugged lesson plans such as Algorithms, Intractability and Cryptography. Through concepts like sequencing, and breaking tasks into steps and performing them in order, children will learn problem-solving skills. These lessons help children engage sensorially and physically, and to be prepared for primary school in the digital era.

Skool4Kidz partnered ECDA, IMDA and KLC International Institute at the Early Childhood Conference 2018 to introduce coding to children.

Aided by child-friendly robotic toys, children benefitted as they enjoyed meaningful coding activities organised specially for them at the IMDA booth. Together with KLC International Institute (KLC), our principals conducted enriching coding activities for children during the two-day event at the open exhibition area.

In a joint effort with IMDA, Skool4Kidz’s principals take the stage to engage children in coding fun.
